Letter from Jesus. Invitation party.

Thanks Rufford for the email. It will be a reminder to us all.

Dear All,

As you well know, we are getting closer to My birthday. Every year there is a celebration in my honor and I think that this year the celebration will be repeated. During this time there are many people shopping for gifts, there are many Radio announcements, TV commercials, and in every part of the world everyone is talking that My birthday is getting closer and closer. It is really very nice to know, that at least once a year, some people think of Me.

As you know, the celebration of My birthday began many years ago. At first people seemed to understand and be thankful of all that I did for them, but in these times, no one seems to know the reason for the celebration. Family and friends get together and have a lot of fun, but they don't know the meaning of the celebration. I remember that last year there was a great feast in My honor. The dinner table was full of delicious foods, pastries, fruits, assorted nuts and chocolates. The decorations were exquisite and there were many, many beautifully wrapped gifts. However, do you want to know something? I was not invited. I was the guest of honor and they didn't remember to send me an invitation. The party was for me, but when that great day came, I was left outside, they closed the door in my face .. and I wanted to be with them and share their table. In truth, that didn't surprise me because in the last few years all close their doors to me. Since I wasn't invited, I decided to enter the party without making any noise. I went in and stood in a corner.

They were all drinking; there were some who were drunk and telling jokes and laughing at everything. They were having a grand time. To top it all, this big fat man all dressed in red wearing a long white beard entered the room yelling Ho-Ho-Ho! He seemed drunk. He sat on the sofa and all the children ran to him, saying: 'Santa Claus, Santa Claus' as if the party were in his honor! At midnight all the people began to hug each other; I extended my arms waiting for someone to hug Me and do you know no-one hugged Me. Suddenly they all began to share gifts. They opened them one by one with great expectation. When all had been opened, I looked to see if, maybe, there was one for Me. What would you feel if on your birthday everybody shared gifts and you did not get one?

I then understood that I was unwanted at that party and quietly left. Every year it gets worse. People only remember the gifts, the parties, to eat and drink, and nobody remembers Me. I would like this Christmas that you allow Me to enter into your life. I would like that you recognize the fact that almost two thousand years ago I came to this world to give My life for you, on the cross, to save you.Today, I only want that you believe this with all your heart. I want to share something with you. As many didn't invite me to their party, I will have my own celebration, a grandiose party that no one has ever imagined, a spectacular party. I'm still making the final arrangements. Today I am sending out many invitations and there is an invitation for you. I want to know if you wish to attend and I will make a reservation for you and write your name with golden letters in my great guest book.

Only those on the guest list will be invited to the party. Those who don't answer the invite, will be left outside. Be prepared because when all is ready you will be PART of MY GREAT PARTY.

See you soon. I Love you!

Jesus In Christmas

Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays: What Are We Celebrating Anyway?

Christmas trees are now holiday trees at your local lot. Parents have consented to giving Santa Claus credit for their hard-earned money. In the past the “Christ” in Christmas evolved into “X-mas,” now the whole phrase has been dismissed for the politically correct “Happy Holidays.” Amidst political correctness, multiple religions, and consumer spending, what are we celebrating anyway?

It’s in the name. Even its newly abridged title of “holiday” illuminates the true reason for this season. ‘Holiday’ is derived from ‘holy day,’ which means a day that is sacred—set apart or special. December 25th is the day we celebrate the birth of a man born over 2000 years ago. This birthday is celebrated internationally and has endured a millennium over. As your and my birthdays are not celebrated in this way, what makes this man so special?

His Birth Was Predicted Thousands of Years in Advance: The prophet Isaiah spoke of the One who would come to deliver people from bondage and oppression and establish a kingdom of peace: “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6).

He Was to be a King: God had told Israel’s greatest ruler, King David, that a descendant of his would rule the kingdom forever. This fulfillment had not come until an angel told Mary, “Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end’” (Luke 1:30-33).

He Was to Give the World Salvation: As evidenced by the state of the world today, mankind is in need of salvation. Jesus Christ was the promised One who would pay for our sins. “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all” (Isaiah 53:4-6).

Everything in His life was Miraculous—Beginning at His Birth and Continuing after His Death: Jesus was born of a virgin; exhibited the power of God—healing all diseases, casting out demons, and preaching the kingdom of God; chose to die a death He did not deserve; and was raised back to life on the third day. From earth, He went up into heaven where He sits at the right hand of God. From heaven, He offers salvation to all who will call upon His name: “For ‘whoever calls on the name of the LORD will be saved’” (Romans 10:13).

1. God Loves You!

The Bible says, "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life"

The problem is that:

2. All of us have done, said or thought things that are wrong. This is called sin, and our sins have separated us from God.

The Bible says “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” God is perfect and holy, and our sins separate us from God forever. The Bible says “The wages of sin is death.”

The good news is that, about 2,000 years ago,

3. God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins.

Jesus is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life and then died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. “God demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.”

Jesus rose from the dead and now He lives in heaven with God His Father. He offers us the gift of eternal life -- of living forever with Him in heaven if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by Me."

God reaches out in love to you and wants you to be His child. "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe on His name." You can choose to ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and come in to your life as your Lord and Savior.

4. If you want to accept Christ, you can ask Him to be your Savior and Lord by praying a prayer like this:

"Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life. I ask you in to my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior. I want to serve you always."

Have you accept this gift of salvation to ask Him to come into your life as Lord and Saviour?

Why my life so sian(bored)?

Life is it so boring to you sometimes? If yes,Why?

In this project serve, we had an ITE Christian Program called, “Impact”. During the impact program, I have learnt on the topic "Why my life so sian?" through the speaker Seow Chin, I came to realize that being “sian” actually comes from an attitude. I ever did ask myself why I felt so “sian” even though my days are fully occupied with programs and work to do.

Last time when I was in my church serving as an usher, I felt quite bored at times. It is because I took it like a duty as a Christian- just complete my part to serve in the church. It is also because being an usher always repeats the same old work procedure in carrying out the work processes. But right now after being corrected by God’s word, I do enjoy serving the Lord as an usher in church and I found myself more willing to serve Him with joy. Heartily, I want to do my very best for the Lord no matter I am good at it or not.

I came to know that having the right attitude in serving Him is very important. God sees the heart of our service to Him no matter in which area we are, whatever we do such as pastor, choir, pianist, guitarist etc... No matter which work we are doing in church, whether big or small, God still see our heart of service towards Him. We ought to ask ourselves whether our service unto Him is pleasing. We need to search our hearts in the way we serve. As a Christian it is our duty to serve but we also need to open our hearts to be willing to serve and to serve giving our best unto the Lord. May you find joy in serving our Holy Lord!

The Blood (why do we need the blood of Christ?)

THE BLOOD

"For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul." Leviticus 17:11

MAN'S GREATEST NEED

The blood of Jesus Christ is God's way of meeting man's greatest need. God is holy, but man is sinful. Sin had separated man from God. To be separated from God a death means to spend eternity in Hell, for sin must be punished. God will not excuse sin.

GOD'S GREATEST SACRIFICE

God sent His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to die on the cross as the payment for our sins: "Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood..." Notice in Romans 3:25 that it was God's plan, not man's: "Whom God hath set forth..."
Second, that Christ died to pay for our sins: "...to be a propitiation..." Finally, that forgiveness is obtained simply by trusting what Jesus has done: "...through faith in his blood..."
Because of the blood, God can show mercy to sinners, yet still remain holy and just. "...that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus." Romans 3:26

WHAT WILL JESUS' BLOOD DO?

The blood washes and cleanses us from sin.
"Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood," Revelation 1:5. "...and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." I John 1:7

The blood pays for our forgiveness.
"In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins..." Ephesians 1:7.

The blood makes peace with God.
"And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself..." Colossians 1:20.

The blood saves us from God's wrath.
"Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him." Romans 5:9

The blood opens the way to Heaven.
"Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus," Hebrews 10:19.

WHAT MUST I DO?

Admit your need: "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23.
"For I acknowledge my transgressions.... I will be sorry for my sin." Psalms 51:3 & 38:18
Trust God's promises completely: "...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved..." Acts 16:31.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8,9
"Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:" I Peter 1:18, 19.
Cry out to God in prayer: "...God be merciful to me a sinner." Luke 18:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13

YOUR GREATEST DECISION

Jesus shed His blood, was buried, and rose the third day. At this moment He stands ready, able, and willing to save you. The choice is yours. A song says, 'If the blood of Christ is sufficient for God, it is surely sufficient for me.' It is the blood that satisfies God.
Why not put your trust in Christ's finished work, and call on Him for salvation now?
"Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them." Hebrews 7:25
"And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood," Revelation 1:5.

(Romans 10:13)

“And whosoever was not found written in the book of live was cast into the lake of fire.”
(Revelation 20:15)

HEAVEN

The Path Way To Heaven

(Romans 6:23) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

(Ezekiel 18:4) The soul that sinneth, it shall die.
This death is described in the Bible as the second death, the lake of fire.

(Revelation 20:14) Death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

THIRD, YOU MUST ACCEPT THAT JESUS CHRIST HAS ALREADY PAIDOUR SIN DEBT.

(Romans 5:6) For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

(Hebrews 2:9)....that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

(John 3:16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believethin him should not preish, but have everlasting life.

Easy-believism (what is the Gospel all about?)

Easy-believism

Today, people tend to take salvation lightly. People believed and accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour but some event have no spiritual commitment, no resulting change in lifestyle, not even a willingness to yield to Christ Lordship and there need be no turning back of sin. They have misunderstood, teach and hold the wrong view of the gospel.

Some people who claims to be "christian" but there's untouchable life that change in them. Many Christians insist such people they are "so called born again" and embraced them by the churches as true believers of God.

Contemporary Christian

They believed that they have recited a prayer, signed on a dotted line, walk an aisle or had some experience and they are saved should never question their salvation. But when they are taught to tell "converts" they doubt about their salvation is satanic and should be dismissed.

The Gospel

The gospel Jesus proclaimed was a call of discipleship, a call to follow Him in submissive obedience. Jesus message liberated people from the bondage of sin while it confronted and condemned hypocrisy. It was an offer of eternal life and forgiveness for repentant sinners, but at the same time it was a rebuke to outwardly religious people whose lives were devoid of true righteousness. It put sinners on notice that they must turn from sin to embrace God's righteousness. Not just a plea to make a decision or pray a prayer.

Accepted?

To accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, is not just using your mind to accept His truth but your Heart must be open to ask Jesus to come into our life. You can't accept Him as your personal Lord OR Saviour but BOTH LORD AND SAVIOUR of your life. Jesus saved us once and for all by dying on the cross for you and my sins. He even redeem us out of darkness and out of the slavery of sin. He is both God and Man, not merely man or God. Give thanks to God for who He is and what He had done for us.

Heavenly Mindedness

"If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God" (Col 3:1)

Proper children of God are heavenly minded. Give your heart to heavenly things, not to the temporal things of the earth. Moses, Stephen, Joseph, etc were all proper children of God and they were heavenly minded. In so far, then, as you have to live upon this earth, consider yourselves dead to worldly contacts: Have nothing to do with Sexual immorality, filthiness, uncontrolled passion, evil desire, and the lust for other people's goods, which lust, remember, is as serious a sin as idolatry.
Moses could shun the riches of Egypt because he was heavenly minded. If all the time you are only thinking of how you will make money and you never consider where and how you will spend eternity, then there is some things wrong.
It is easy to be deceived by the temporary benefits of wealth, popularity, status, and achievement, and to be blind to long range benefits of God's kingdom. Faith helps us to look beyond the world's values of God's kingdom.
What will you do if you are offered millions of dollars in exchange for eternity in heaven? Let us not make the wrong choice because of the temporary difficulties we are going through in life.

-Lord, help me to steadfastly fix my mind on heavenly things and let me be aware if my eyes are fixing on temporary stuff on earth, in Jesus name. Amen.

Love Breeds True Friendship

"A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity" (Proverbs 17:17)

True friends are not easy to come by in this generation of waywardness. A true friend is unchangeable in all circumstances. Do you sometimes ask yourself who is your friend? Maybe you have been thinking, it is that person who gave you some money recently.
The Lord Jesus, teaches "Love your neighbour as yourself". It is only love that will make you care about what is happening to your next neighbour at all times and everywhere you find yourself. Are you only concerned about those from your family, church, tribe, father mother, or brothers and sisters alone? God expects you to love everyone you have opportunity to meet. You have to demonstrate the love of God towards all as Jesus did (both Jews and Gentiles). This is the only way we can impact lives as Jesus did. When did you last pray for that unbelieving soul you had opprtunity to meet? That neighbour of yours who has been sick, did you pray for him or visit him? Our Lord Jesus wept at the grave of Lazarus his friend. Don't be a believer who only focusses on heaven and eternity without getting concerned about others around. It is good and rewarding to make friends, not a friend of the world, but a friend who can touch lives. "Let your light shine before all men..." This is the excellency of love in Christ Jesus.

- Thank God for the reminder once again that I shouldn't focus too much on my christian friends. I still have other friends around me who I need to look out and pray for especially for their salvation. In my prayers, I mostly prayed for my christian friends only. How about my friends who doesn't know about Christ? I should say that I had neglected them in my prayers.
Through this passage, I've realised that I didn't pray much for them lately. It also help me to think and ask myself that this week, how many non-believing friends have I prayed for? I should say NONE! From now onwards I shall include those non-believing friends in my prayer and pray for their needs and salvation.

Heavy Cross?

By Uncle Carl .

Thought it was a great reminder for me to have full faith of our Lord, to endure whatever hardship and difficulties that I may be facing, and not to take the any easy short cut way out of it, for there is a reason the Lord allows what we go through to happen. These difficulties may be in the home, at work, or even at church.

Yes... I am guilty of being unable to endure the trials that I have come across many times, resorting in taking short cuts to get myself out of it. Perhaps this is the reason why I received this reminder by way of my old friend. Our Lord cares enough to let me see my mistakes and faults.

I hope this helps you in some ways like it has me.

God bless.

Whatever your cross,

Whatever your pain,

There will always be sunshine,

After the rain...

Perhaps you may stumble,

Perhaps even fall,

But God's always ready,

To answer your call...

He knows every heartache,

Sees every tear,

A word from His lips,

Can calm every fear...

Your sorrows may linger,

Throughout the night,

But suddenly vanish,

In dawn's early light...

The Savior is waiting,

Somewhere above,

To give you His grace,

And send you His love...

Whatever your cross,

Whatever your pain,

"God always sends rainbows...

After the rain..."

To get out of difficulty, one must usually go through it!

Thy Word - lyrics

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
And a light unto my path.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
And a light unto my path.

When I feel afraid,
And think Ive lost my way.
Still, youre there right beside me.
Nothing will I fear
As long as you are near;
Please be near me to the end.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
And a light unto my path.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
And a light unto my path.

I will not forget
Your love for me and yet,
My heart forever is wandering.
Jesus by my guide,
And hold me to your side,
And I will love you to the end.

Nothing will I fear
As long as you are near;
Please be near me to the end.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
And a light unto my path.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
And a light unto my path.
And a light unto my path.
Youre the light unto my path.

Never fear when you are lost in your way in thy path of the Lord, for the Lord will guide you, hold you and keep you near by His side to lead you unto your feet and bring light unto thy path through thy word of the Lord. Amen.

How To Pray?

HOW TO PRAY

It is the privilege of every Believer to pray. Prayer is so important that Jesus taught his disciples how to pray (see Luke ch. 11) The main reason we see no results when we pray, is we don’t know how. In the book of James it states “you don’t have, because you don’t ask.” and “you don’t have because you don’t need it.” (James 4:1-3 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? [2] Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. [3] Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. )

God isn’t some “sugar daddy” your motives must be pure. God knows what you need before you even before you ask. (Matthew 6:8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.)

Successful prayer can be summed up by remembering the ACTS of prayer.

A- Adoration of God. Praise Him for everything that He has done.

C-Confession of sins. The Bible says if we confess our sins He will forgive our sins. (1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.)

T-Thanksgiving. Thank God in advance. One must first believe that God hears your prayers and that He wants to give you what you ask for.

S-Supplications. (that’s a fancy word for requests) Notice this is last. That’s for a reason.

Prayer is talking to God. You don’t have to talk in old English to talk to God. He will understand you anyway.

******* INTERCESSORY PRAYER

This is a prayer a Believer makes on behalf of someone else. In the book of James we are told to pray for each other (James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.)

Circumstances can be changed in people’s lives through intercessory prayer. In the book of James it tells us to not only pray for each other, but the effectual (or capable, effective, powerful) prayers of a righteous man avails much. Who is righteous? Believers are! We know that His blood that was shed on the cross cleanses us from all unrighteousness therefore, Believers are made righteous! (not by anything we did on our own, but what Jesus does inside us)

******* PRAYER OF SALVATION (or “sinners” prayer)

This is the starting point of a Christian life. In the book of Matthew when the man told Jesus he would follow Him after he buried his father, and Jesus told him to follow now and let the dead bury the dead (Matthew 8:21-22 And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. [22] But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.) Jesus was talking on a spiritual level and when He said “let the dead bury the dead” He meant the spiritually dead.

The words of this prayer may vary. One needs to realize that they have sinned (Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God) and their sins separates them from God. The only way to cleanse our sins and get back to God is by the cross. (John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.) By believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth that Jesus is the Son of God, and He died on the cross for our sins and God raised Him from the dead 3 days later, you will be saved.

An example of this is as follows;

“Dear Lord Jesus;

I know I’m a sinner. I believe that you are the Son of God and that you died on the cross, paying the debt for my sins. On the third day God raised you from the dead. I repent of my sins and ask you to create in me a clean heart.”

******* THE WRONG MOTIVE

Many times prayer is made with a doubting heart. “Well, I’ll pray, but I doubt it will do any good.” or people pray and in their hearts they have already failed. (told ya it wouldn’t work.)

Some people think more about impressing other people than praying to God. You know the type. They want people to hear them pray. Jesus talked about this type in Matthew. He told us not to be like them, because the only reward they will get will come from the people they are trying to impress! (Matthew 6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward) Now, that doesn’t mean that it’s wrong to pray in public, but always remember you are having a conversation with God and He sees your heart. (Psalm 44:21 Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.)

A “prayer closet” (Matthew 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.) indicates that it is just between you and God.

******* THE LORD’S PRAYER

This prayer was given as an example, nothing more. (Matthew 6:9-13 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. [10] Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. [11] Give us this day our daily bread. [12] And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. [13] And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.)

There is nothing “magic” about it. It doesn’t matter how many times you repeat it. God herd you the first time. As a matter of fact, we are taught to avoid repeating the same old prayer. (Matthew 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.)

******* “TOKEN” PRAYERS

There are certain times when due to tradition-like before meals or before bed-that people feel “obligated” to pray. These are “token” prayers.

One must guard these prayers don’t become rutene and you just do it because it is always “done like that”. There is certainly nothing wrong with token prayers, but always remember who you are praying to. The almighty God!

******* THE NAME OF JESUS

We are told to ask in the name of Jesus and the Father will hear. (John 16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.) That is why we pray the name of Jesus.

******* PURPOSE OF PRAYER

(Philip. 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.) When the verse says “be careful for nothing” it doesn’t mean that God will spoil you. Jesus pointed out things in nature-the birds and flowers as an example of God’s love-to explain what is meant by “be careful for nothing”.

How would you like it if your kids only talked to you when they wanted something and ignored you the rest of the time? Prayer is often approached with this mindset. Prayers of thanksgiving are powerful things.

The purpose of prayer, be it thanksgiving or a petition of personal want, is communion with the creator of the universe-almighty God!

****** CLOSING PRAYER

“Dear God, maker of Heaven and earth;

I praise you in all things. The Heavens declare the works of your hands.

Thank you for hearing my prayers. I know that you hear me when I pray, and thank you for the grace by which I am saved.

IN THE NAME OF JESUS

AMEN

You Will Never Walk Alone Lyrics

Along life's road there will be sunshine and rain
Roses and thorns, laughter and pain
And 'cross the miles, you will face mountains so steep
Deserts so long and valleys so deep

Sometimes the journey's gentle
Sometimes the cold winds blow
But I want you to remember, I want you to know

You will never walk alone as long as you have faith
Jesus will be right beside you all the way
And you may feel you're far from home but home is where He is
And He'll be there down every road, you will never walk alone
Never, no, never

The path will wind, you will find wonders and fears
Labors of love and a few falling tears
Across the years there will be some twists and turns
Mistakes to make and lessons to learn

Sometimes the journey's gentle
Sometimes the cold winds blow
But I want you to remember wherever you may go

You will never walk alone as long as you have faith
Jesus will be right beside you all the way
And you may feel you're far from home but home is where He is
And He'll be there down every road, you will never walk alone

Jesus knows your joy, Jesus knows your need
He will go the distance with you faithfully

You will never walk alone
He will be right beside you all the way
And you may feel you're far from home
He'll be there down every road

You will never walk alone as long as you have faith
Jesus will be right beside you all the way
And you may feel you're far from home but home is where He is
And He'll be there down every road, you will never walk alone
Never, no, never, you'll never, oh you'll never
Never walk alone

Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. (Hebrew 11:1)

Indeed! You will never walk alone as long as you have faith in Jesus, you will never walk alone. I like the lyrics of this song. I was touch by this song because I had few experience before. One of them was a time when I felt Jesus was far away from me when I encounter some problems. I can't feel Him around me and I always felt empty and cold or rather lonely. I've forgotten about Him who is in my life helping me and beside me all along. I've been worrying too much on my problems and those problems are just like "smoke" that can covers me from Jesus. I dint realise it actually can isolate me in darkness once again.
Thank God until a time when I walked back home, something just strikes my mind. This words came to my mind, "Have Faith In Him."
I was happy and sad at the same time that why I struggled with my problems each week until now then I realise all along I'm walking with my problems and not my faith in Jesus. Once I realise it, I've made a promise to God that no matter what will happen, always pray and have faith in Him. From then on, Thank God that my faith in Him is getting better and better. Although I can't feel His presence sometimes, but I believe that He is always around helping me.

His light shines forth when I'm in darkness. He light up His way and guide me in His path. Thank God that I have you in my life. A king that holds my hand and walk beside me. You never leave me, you never forsake me.

Through it all

Everlasting.. Father I love you.
Ever living.. Saviour I love you.

Her Am I Lord

I, the Lord of sea and sky,
I have heard my people cry.
All who dwell in dark and sin,
My hand will save.

I, who made the stars of night,
I will make their darkness bright.
Who will bear my light to them?
Whom shall I send?

Chorus
Here I am, Lord. Is it I, Lord?
I have heard you calling in the night.
I will go, Lord, if you lead me.
I will hold your people in my heart.

I, the Lord of snow and rain,
I have borne my people’s pain.
I have wept for love of them.
They turn away.

Chorus
Here I am, Lord. Is it I, Lord?
I have heard you calling in the night.
I will go, Lord, if you lead me.
I will hold your people in my heart.

I will break their hearts of stone,
Give them hearts for love alone.
I will speak my words to them.
Whom shall I send?

Chorus
Here I am, Lord. Is it I, Lord?
I have heard you calling in the night.
I will go, Lord, if you lead me.
I will hold your people in my heart.

I, the Lord of wind and flame,
I will send the poor and lame.
I will set a feast for them.
My hand will save.

Chorus
Here I am, Lord. Is it I, Lord?
I have heard you calling in the night.
I will go, Lord, if you lead me.
I will hold your people in my heart.

Finest bread I will provide,
'Til their hearts be satisfied.
I will give my life to them.
Whom shall I send?

Chorus
Here I am, Lord. Is it I, Lord?
I have heard you calling in the night.
I will go, Lord, if you lead me.
I will hold your people in my heart.

My Life Is In Your Hands

You don't have to worry
And don't you be afraid
Joy comes in the morning
Troubles they don't last always
For there's a friend in Jesus
Who will wipe your tears away
And if your heart is broken
Just lift your hands and say

Oh
I know that I can make it
I know that I can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands

With Jesus I can take it
With Him I know I can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands

So when your tests and trials
They seem to get you down
And all your friends and loved ones
Are nowhere to be found
Remember there's a friend in Jesus
Who will wipe your tears away
And if you heart is broken
Just lift your hands and say

Oh
I know that I can make it
I know that I can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands

With Jesus I can take it
With Him I know I can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands

Why Jesus' Disciples Refused to Keep Silent

Speaking out about Jesus meant the disciples risked being tortured, even killed. Why didn't they keep silent?

THE TWELVE APOSTLES:
1. Andrew - crucified
2. Bartholomew - beaten then crucified
3. James, son of Alphaeus - stoned to death
4. James, son of Zebedee - beheaded
5. John - exiled for his faith; died of old age
6. Judas (not Iscariot) - stoned to death
7. Matthew - speared to death
8. Peter - crucifed upside down
9. Philip - crucified
10. Simon - crucified
11. Thomas - speared to death
12. Matthias - stoned to death
(source: Fox's Book of Martyrs)

Each of the 12 apostles left families and careers, often traveling alone to distant countries, declaring that Jesus died and came back to life. For proclaiming Jesus' resurrection, they were beaten, imprisoned, and many killed in torturous ways.

Did they have any basis for declaring this? Yes. It is undisputed that after the crucifixion of Jesus, the tomb was empty three days later, just as Jesus' predicted. The controversy focuses on what became of Jesus' body? Some say that Jesus' disciples stole his body and concocted a story that he rose from the dead. However, if the disciples made it all up, each of them allowed himself to be executed--for what they knew to be a lie. It doesn't make sense. Would you die for something you knew was a lie?

What does make sense are the historical facts. Jesus had been humiliated, beaten, whipped, nailed to a cross, where he died on display before the public. A spear was thrust into his side just to make sure he was dead. He was buried in a stone tomb, with Roman soldiers to guard the tomb, assigned by the religious establishment who feared an attempt to steal the body. But on the third day, the guards had fled, the tomb was open, and the only remaining evidence were the burial clothes inside the tomb, laying there empty.

Starting that day, the disciples said they saw Jesus physically alive multiple times. So had hundreds of others. They had lengthy conversations with him and ate with him--all after witnessing his death by beating, crucifixion and spearing. When ordered not to speak about Jesus' resurrection, they responded, "We cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard!"

These disciples risked their lives to speak out about what they had no doubts about--that Jesus had risen from the dead, proving that he was everything he claimed to be...the Son of God.

What do you think? You will hopefully never be executed for believing in Jesus like the first disciples were, but you can become just as sure of the truth of his resurrection, and understand why it mattered so much to these twelve men.

Why Go To Church? Got it by Email

If you're spiritually alive, you're going to love this! If you're
spiritually dead, you won't want to read it. If you're spiritually curious,
there is still hope!

Why Go To Church?

A Church goer wrote a letter to the editor of a newspaper and complained
that it made no sense to go to church every Sunday. "I've gone for 30 years

Now," he wrote, "and in that time I have heard something like 3,000 sermons.
But for the life of me, I can't remember a single one of them. So, I think
I'm wasting my time and the pastors are wasting theirs by giving sermons at
all."

This started a real controversy in the "Letters to the Editor"
column, much to the delight of the editor. It went on for weeks until
someone wrote this clincher:

"I've been married for 30 years now. In that time my wife has cooked some
32,000 meals.
But, for the life of me, I cannot recall the entire menu for a single one of
those meals.
But I do know this... They all nourished me and gave me the strength I
needed to do my work.
If my wife had not given me these meals, I would be physically dead today.
Likewise, if I had not gone to church for nourishment, I would be
spiritually dead today!" When you are DOWN to nothing.... God is UP to
something!

Faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible and receives
the impossible! Thank God for our physical AND our spiritual nourishment!

All right, now that you're done reading, send it on!!! I think everyone
should read this!! "When Satan is knocking at your door, simply say,"Jesus,
could you get that for me?!!"

Whose Name Is on Your Cards?

Joshua Harris Book Titled I Kissed Dating Goodbye Pg 107 -108

The Bible teaches that one day we'll each stand before God to be judged. "So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God" (Romans 14:12). All the "cards" from our life will be dumped out before Him for review.

The hope I have for that day isn't that I've written enough good cards to make up for the bad. My hope for that day is in the fact that I've put my faith in God's perfect Son. He has already paid the penalty for my sin. Even though I deserved to be punished, even though I'm guilty, the name of Jesus will be on those cards.

For sinners like you and me, there's no better news. We can be forgiven. Every man and woman who believes on Jesus can be cleansed no matter how dark the stain of sin.

"So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light" (Romans 13:12). Admittedly, some will have more to lay aside than others more memories, more pain, more regrets. But the past needn't determine our future. We have choices right now about how we'll live. Will we set out hearts on God and walk in His paths?

"Let us behave decently," the passage in Romans continues," "...not in sexual immorality and debauchery... Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do no think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature" (v13:14)

Not one of us can stand completely pure before God. We are all sinners. But no matter hoe filthy the rags of our defilement may be, in a moment of repentance and faith the heart turned towards God loses its impurity. God clothes us in Christ's righteousness. He no longer sees our sin. He transfers Jesus' purity to us. So see yourself as God sees you clothed in radiant white, pure, justified.

Maybe you have a particular memory that continues to hound you, a memory that makes you feel unworthy of God's love and forgiveness.

Turn away from it. Don't replay that moment or any others like it. If you've rejected all those behaviours, God has promised to remember them no more (Hebrews 8:12). Move on. A lifetime of purity awaits you.

A Cleansed Past: The Room

Joshua Harris book titled I Kissed Dating Goodbye pg107

More than a Nice Story

I originally shared the story of my dream back in 1995 in a magazine I published. Since then it's been e-mailed and spread by many people even by those who aren't Christians. For some no doubt it's a nice story, and though it isn't real to them, its religious overtones and theme of forgiveness makes them feel good.

But this is more than a heart-warming story. It's not imaginary. The dream is a picture of what Christ truly accomplished when He died on the cross. He literally took our guilt on Himself. And this meant much more than just having His name on a card. It meant receiving the punishment from God that all those sinful words and actions deserved.

Here is what's important to understand: It is only by repenting of our sins and putting our faith in Christ that this substitution can take place. We each have a "room" containing all our sinful deeds and thoughts. But just because we admit this or feel bad about it doesn't mean we're forgiven. Remorse can't save anyone. Only faith in Christ can. Only trust in His death and resurrection for us.

How Jesus Can Redeem Your Past (4)

By Joshua Harris Title of the book I Kissed Dating Goodbye Pg 106

No one must ever, ever know of this room. I must lock it up and hide the key.
But then as I pushed away the tears, I saw Him. No, please, not Him. Not here. Oh, anyone but Jesus.

I watched helplessly as He began to open the files and read the cards. I couldn't bear to watch His response. And in the moments I could bring myself to look at His face, I saw a sorrows deeper than my own. He seemed to intuitively go to the worst boxes. Why did He have to read every one?

Finally He turned and looked at me from across the room. He looked at me with pity in His eyes. But this was a pity that didn't anger me. I dropped my head, covered my face with my hands, and began to cry again. He walked over and put His arm around me. He could have said so many things. But He didn't say a word. He just cried with me.

Then He got up and walked back to the wall of files. Starting at one end of the room, He took out a file and, one by one, began to sign His name over mine on each card.

"No!" I shouted, rushing to Him. All I could find to say was "No, no," as I pulled the cards. But there it was, written in red so rich, so dark, so alive. The name of Jesus covered mine. It was written with His blood.

He gently took the card back. He smiled a sad smile and continued to sign the cards. I didn't think I'll ever understand how He did it so quickly, but the next instant it seemed I heard Him close the last file and walk back to my side. He placed His hand on my shoulder and said, "It is finished,"

I stood up, and He led me out of the room. There was no lock on its door. There were still cards to be written.

I was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of the life I had lived. Could it be possible that I had the time in my twenty years to write each of these thousands, possibly millions, of cards? But each card confirmed this truth. Each was written in my own handwriting. Each signed with my signature.

When I pulled out the file marked "Songs I Have Listened To," I realized the files grew to contain their contents. The cards were packed tightly, and yet after two or three yards, I hadn't found the end of the file. I shut it, shamed, not so much by the quality of music, but more by the vast amount of time I knew that file represented.

When I came to a file marked "Lustful Thoughts," I felt a chill run through my body. I pulled the file out only an inch, not willing to test its size, and drew out a card. I shuddered at its detailed contents. I felt sick to think that such a moment had been recorded.

Suddenly I felt an almost animal rage. One thought dominated my mind: "No one must ever see these cards! No one must ever see this room! I have to destroy them!" In an insane frenzy I yanked the file out. Its size didn't matter now. I had to empty it and burn the cards. But as I took the file at one end and began pounding it on the floor, I could not dislodge a single card. I became desperate and pulled out a card, only find it as strong as steel when I tried to tear it.

Defeated and utterly helpless, I returned the file to its slot. Leaning my forehead against the wall, I let out a long, self-pitying sigh. And then I saw it. The title bore "People I Have Shared the Gospel With." The handle was brighter than those around it, newer, almost unused. I pulled on its handle and a small box not more than three inches long fell into my hands. I could count the cards it contained on one hand.

And then the tears came. I began to weep. Sobs so deep that the hurt started in my stomach and shook through me. I fell on my knees and cried. I cried out of shamed, from the overwhelming shame of it all. The rows of file shelves swirled in my tear-filled eyes.

In that place between wakefulness and dreams, i found myself in the room. There were no distinguishing features save for the one wall covered with small index-card files.

They were like the ones in libraries that list titles by author or subject in alphabetical order. But these files, which stretched from floor to ceiling and seemingly endlessly in either direction, had very different headings. As I drew near the wall of files, the first to catch my attention was one that read "girl I Have Liked." I opened it and began flipping through the cards. I quickly shut it, shocked to realize that I recognized the names written on each one.

And then without being told, I knew exactly where I was. This lifeless room with its small files was crude catalog system for my life. Here were written the actions of my every moment, big and small, in a detail my memory couldn't match.

A sense of wonder and curiosity, coupled with horror, stirred within me as I began randomly opening files and exploring their contents. Some brought joy and sweet memories; others a sense of shame and regret so intense that I would look over my shoulder to see if anyone was watching. A file named "Friends" was next to one marked "friends I Have Betrayed,"

The titles ranged from the mundane to the outright weird: "Books I Have Read," "Lies I Have Told," "Comfort I Have Given," "jokes I Have Laugh At." Some were almost hilarious in their exactness: "Things I've Yelled at My Brothers." Others I couldn't laugh at: "Things I Have Done in Anger," "Things I Have Muttered under My Breath at My Parents." I never ceased to be surprised by the contents. Often there were many more cards than I expected. Sometimes there were fewer than I hoped.

How Jesus Can Redeem Your Past (1)

By Joshua Harris, Title of the book I Kiss Dating Goodbye Pg103

As Christians, we "know" certain things such as " Jesus loves me" and "Christ died for sinners."
We've heard these statements countless times, but the dust of familiarity can dim the glory of these simple truths. We have to brush them off and remind ourselves of their life transforming power.

I share it here because after a chapter on the importance of striving for purity, we need a reminder of God's grace. For some, myself included, a discussion of purity is an exercise in regret - it reminds us of our impurity and the times we've failed.

Maybe you've blown it. Maybe you reflect on past actions and wince with remorse. Purity seems like a lost cause. This dream, called "The Room," is dedicated to you.

Thank You For Loving Me Lyrics

What love the Father has lavished on us
That we should be called His sons and daughters
Precious in His sightGreater love this world had never seen
When He hung on that tree
O why would He do such a thing
For dirty sinners like you and me?

Chorus:
O God thank You for loving me
When on the cross You made history
Lord You died for me
Forever my praise will go to Thee
O God thank You for choosing me
To be Your child and bear Your name
O Jesus I will never cease to sing Your praise

Verse 2:
Your love is patient and humble and kind
It's greater than all my sin
It always protects and trusts and hopes
And will have no end
It's Your love that lifted me up from the depths
Set my feet on a solid rock
With a firm place to stand
Lord I always will trust in Your loving hand

Bridge:
How wide how long
How high how deep
How endless is Your love for me
How wide how longHow high how deep
How endless is Your love for me

Little Tugs

Read: 1 Timothy 4:12-16 RBT: 2 Kings 1-3

At the close of his sermon, a pastor directed some special words to the children. He said, "If you visit New York City, you will see great ships coming in from the ocean. They wait outside the harbor until tugs go out to meet them. A cable stretched between the large vessel and the tug enables the small boat to tow the big ship safely to the mooring dock."
" Boys and girls," concluded the preacher, "you can be 'little tugs' for Jesus. You can throw the cords of love to some bigger person - an aunt, an uncle, or even your parents - and bring them to Christ."
Two young girls who lived next door to my home began attending Sunday school and were converted to Christ. They invited their parents to come, and it time both of them had received Jesus as their Savior. The "little tugs" had brought the "big ships" into God's harbor of grace.
Paul's words to Timothy in our Scripture reading remind us that we are never too young to be used by God. Although he was not a child, he may have felt that his youth was a hindrance. But Paul said, in effect, "Through your good example you can be an influence for the Lord."
No matter how young you are, or how insignificant you feel, you can bring others to Christ.

Have you noticed that the childlike faith

Of a little girl or boy

Has so often shown to older ones

How to know salvation's joy?

Memory Verse - Let no one despise your youth. but be an example. 1 Timothy 4:12

Meditation -Even a little example can have a big influence for Christ.

Wordless Prayers

Read: Exodus 2:23-3:7 RBT: 2 Samuel 5-8

A woman who was slowly dying from cancer was frequently visited by her paster. One day she said to him, "At times I am so wracked with agony that it is impossible for me to gather my thoughts to pray. Even when i rally somewhat from the influence of the morphine, my mind is still dazed, and I cannot concentrate for any length of time"
He looked at her a moment and said, "you can groan, can't you?"

"Oh, yes," she answered, "my days are spent in groaning."
"Well, never mind that you can't formulate lengthy prayers. Your groans reach to God's ear just as surely as your more eloquent petitions."

Child of God, your deep groans are worth more than a thousand wordy, superficial prayers. Every time you bare your heart to the Lord, you may be sure that He hears your cry.
It's a great priviledge to be able to commune with our heavenly Father.

If our health is goos and our mind is clear, we should formulate our requests carefully and thoughtfully. But if we are too ill to think, we can take comfort in knowing that He hears the groans of those who love Him. He knows our hearts even when we can't put our feelings into words.

When God inclines the heart to pray,
He hath an ear to hear;
To Him there's music in a groan
And beauty in a tear.

Memory Verse:
The Lord said"I...have heard their cry..., for I know their sorrows."
Exodus 3:7

When Praying, Pray with a heart...

Joy Of Serving

Throughout this 1 month of holiday quite fruitful to me. I got to serve in Singapore Youth Of Christ. I got to go GMSS to help out as a facilitator to teach their school values. It's my first time stepping into school to help out.

Nowadays i also got to learn to meet up people or students for meal and talk about christian stuff and i will try to answer any questions they have as well as update them.

I get to serve more in church too especially ushering. Temporary we didn't really have enough brothers and sisters to help out ushering... if not the schedule of who to usher on that particular Sunday still not really fix yet. So if Wei ling need any of us to help out to usher on Sunday, she will call people up and ask whether is it ok to usher on Sunday.

Few days ago i just realise after serving the Lord day by day, I felt there's joy in me. Despite of my limitation and abilities... i still will continue to serve Him.

Now i got to attend some training given by our church as well as SYFC to build myself up to help those who in need and also to reach out to people.

I also got to realise now that i willing to give up my working time if i need to do the Lord's work. I will use some of the salary to contribute if they really need the money to extend the kingdom of God as tiding or offering.

I Thank God That I Able To Serve HIM Faithfully With Joy In My Heart.

Are You Searching For Wisdom?

Read: Proverbs 10: 1-9

Often we hear people question the wisdom of those in authority over us. It's easy to point an accusing finger at the government officials, bosses, pastors, teachers, or board members and say they are unfit to lead.

In reality, though, we're focusing our attention in the wrong place. Instead of being critical of others, we need to make sure wisdom is present in our own lives.

But how do we get such wisdom? First we need a "fear of the Lord" and a "knowledge of the Holy One"(proverbs 9:10). The best way to acquire this knowledge is by reading God's word.

We must also ask the Lord for His help if we are to gain wisdom. James wrote, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God" (James 1:5). Just as Solomon asked God for wisdom to help him lead ( 1 king 3:9), so we must constantly rely on the Lord if we are to walk a godly path.

Proverbs 10 tells us that when we are wise we will bring joy to our parents (v1), we will work in a timely manner (v5), and we will know how to accept authority (v8).

The next time you're tempted to critcize someone, think twice. Ask God to help you examine your own heart. Then ask yourself, "Am I searching for the wisdom God's Word promises?"

Give to me Your insight, Lord,
As I read Your Word today,
So I'll truly understand
Your message and Your way.

The Lord gives Wisdom. - Proverbs 2:6

He Remains N Be The Same

Hebrew 1:10-12

"You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.
V11 They will perish, but You remain; and they will all grow old like garment;
V12 Like a cloak You will fold them up, and they will be changed. But You the same, and Your years will not fail.

---> As i read this three verses immediately something just strikes me and it reminds me that things on earth are temporal and someday they will perish. But that only thing will remain and will stay the same is God. He will be the same Yesterday Today And Forever. (Hebrew 13:8)

My Faith

I used to think that my faith in God is strong. But I realized that when problems start to arise, sometimes my faith wavers because I get disappointed when things do not go my way. Sometimes I doubt God, thinking that He doesn’t answer or listen to my prayers.
However, I know that through obstacles, I am tested to see how strong my faith really is. During such obstacles, when I realized my faith in him was not strong, I would be sad and disappointed in myself because I saw the lack of faith in Him. I even doubted Him as well. When I realized that I have doubted God, I prayed for His forgiveness and that He may strengthen and guide me in my faith. How can one actually doubt God when He is such an absolute and almighty God whose plans for His children are the best?

James1: 6- But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the
sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Romans 14:1- Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to dispute over doubtful things.

Whenever I encounter problems or struggles, God seems to be constantly reminding me that I need to trust and have faith in Him, and to keep on believing that He will help me. To me, prayers do build up my faith too as I believe that He will help me when I ask in accordance to His will.

Matthew 21:22-And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Thank God that He has built up my faith in different areas and through various ways, so that my faith in Him may become strong and positive. Thank God also that through the obstacles I have faced, I am able to see where my faith stands.
One example that God has strengthened me in my faith is through a Christian friend of mine. Through her, I can see how strong her faith is towards God no matter what the circumstances may be. Although she has yet managed to reach out to her friends or family, she will still continue to pray, believing that God will help her to continue to reach out to people to save their souls.
Through her testimony, my faith has been strengthened and I learn that no matter what the circumstances may be, to always trust and have faith in the Lord, believing that he will help me.

Mark11: 22-And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

So dear friends, although sometimes things do not turn out as what I expect it to be, I will continue to trust in Him, believing that He will help me as He knows what’s best for me. So have faith in God!
